While the people from the east relocate to the west to earn, the retirees from there migrate to the east to save money and also to spend a peaceful life towards the fag end of their life. There has been a recent increase in this trend of migrating from the west to the east.
In spite of many attractive retirement spots all across the world with specific retirement visa policies, Asia still seems to be the place considered by many people. Cultural adjustment although is a big barrier, is dwindling down gradually with the increasing rates of migration and policy changes by the governments of the Asian countries.

Among the Asian retirement spots, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Singapore seem to offer an inexpensive life, the rest seem to be relatively high in cost.
